Ceilings Plus products used in the project include: Illusions™, Wallforms™ and Columnar™. A large perforation pattern: LT-26, 3/8" dia. @ .530" diagonal centers, 39% open area with black ductliner backing was chosen to maximize sound absorption. The angular facets of the ceiling adds increased surface area and for sound dispersal, effectively increasing sound absorption.

In order to obtain the maximum functionality of the Dimensional Fund Training Center, designers demanded special attention to the function of the acoustics. This was to produce an efficient, productive and healthy work environment.

The amount of considerations given to acoustics in the ceiling resulted in a comfortable, relaxed and efficient work environment. This was all achieved without sacrificing the desired design.

The acoustics were essential to the function of the lobby environment in order to balance the interfacing hard surfaces.

The ability to incorporate hard surfaces such as cast in place flooring, floor to ceiling glazing and non-perforated wood wall panels, without sacrificing acoustics, is achieved through the efficient and effective acoustic characteristics of the ceiling system.

Special consideration is given to acoustics 90 seat auditorium. The acoustics involved Ceilings Plus Illusions, WallForms and Columnar.
