Runways photo Runways
Runways™ is a ceiling system targeted for corridors and small, narrow rooms. The system offers standard, user friendly installable tee grid. Expandable panels are adjustable to fit corridors 4'-6" to 8'-0" wide (other sizes may be available). The design of the panel will minimize, if not eliminate, field cutting.

Finishes
Combine finishes for added dimension. Mix wood with metal or metallic with paint. Create your own design. Ceilings Plus offers a wide variety of finishes applied to metal. Ceilings Plus will explore unique finish selections at the request of the specifier. Consult factory for possibilities.


   
Metal
Ceilings Plus manufactures from painted steel, painted or anodized aluminum and stainless steel. Other unique metal finishes are available. See Metal Finishes.
Wood
Ceilings Plus has developed two new wood finishes which easily adapt to a variety of shapes. Before these finishes were introduced, the cost and practical considerations of using conventional wood ceilings limited their use. That’s why at Ceilings Plus we reimagined what a wood ceiling can be. See Wood Finishes.

Sizes
All Runways™ panel assemblies are standard 32" wide. Panels are available in 5' (4'-0" to 5'-0"), 6' (5'-0" to 6'-0"), 7' (6'-0" to 7'-0") or 8' (7'-0" to 8'-0") sizes <click here>. Consult factory for other sizes.

Panel Surface Quality
The distinguishing characteristic of Runways™ is the monolithic appearance and flatness of the panel. The structural integrity and overall quality is achieved by the integral 1-1/2” panel returns on all 4 sides.

Accessible
Runways™ accommodates nearly every type of lighting configuration: surface, recessed, or pendant. Perimeter light cove details are also available. Mod-Air™ diffusers are optional accessories which provide excellent air delivery characteristics while neatly blending into the ceiling plane; other air distribution systems, such as linear air diffusers can be easily integrated. Electrical / Mechanical
Runways™ accommodates nearly every type of lighting configuration; surface, recessed, or pendant. Perimeter light cove details are also available. Mod-Air™ diffusers are optional accessories which provide excellent air delivery characteristics while neatly blending into the ceiling plane. Integrating linear sources may also be easily accomplished. Consult factory for cad details not shown in details section of this site.

Acoustics
Noise reduction may be achieved by perforating the surface, and adding an absorptive backing. A variety of sound absorbing backing is available, Ceilings Plus can supply absorbing material which can achieve NRC values ranging from .70-.95. Consult factory for more guidance. Perforations
A variety of round, square, rectangular and custom perforation patterns are available to meet the project requirements. See Wood Perforations and Metal Perforations.

Light Reflectance
Runways™ ceiling is available in a high light white reflectance finish. See Metal Finishes. Consult factory for specifics.

Test Reports
Ceilings Plus has developed the Runways™ ceiling systems to meet ASTM 635, ASTM 636 and typical local building code requirements. Test reports for suspension system and finish performance are available upon request.

Class I Fire Rated
Runways™ ceiling is Class I, 0-25 Flame Spread as tested in accordance with ASTM E84.
