Affordable
Illusions™ is manufactured from CNC manufacturing equipment that produces modular ceiling panels quickly and with precision. Computer-controlled CNC machinery reduces the production time and lowers the cost of metal ceilings, which have a custom appearance.

Finishes
Ceilings Plus offers a wide variety of finishes applied to metal. Ceilings Plus will explore unique finish selections at the request of the specifier. Consult factory for possibilities.

	Metal Ceilings Plus manufactures from painted steel, painted or anodized aluminum and stainless steel. Other unique metal finishes are available. See Metal Finishes.
	Wood Ceilings Plus has developed two new wood finishes which easily adapt to a variety of shapes. Before these finishes were introduced, the cost and practical considerations of using conventional wood ceilings limited their use. That’s why at Ceilings Plus we reimagined what a wood ceiling can be. See Wood Finishes.
	Luminous Illusions™ can be illuminated from light sources above. Light sources mounted above the suspended ceiling in an enclosed ventilated plenum will create a luminous effect. The selection of the percentage opening of the perforations will control the light level desired. A white lens may be placed in panels to conceal view of plenum. Contact Ceilings Plus for more information. Some applications may require the need for sound absorption and illuminated surfaces. This is possible with the use of a white fabric acoustical backing. Lighting configurations and perforation patterns must be carefully planned to insure a successful completion. Consult a Ceilings Plus factory expert for more information.

Panel Surface Quality
The distinguishing characteristic of Illusions™ is the monolithic appearance and flatness of the panel. The structural integrity and overall quality is achieved by the integral 1-1/4” panel returns on all 4 sides.

Accessible
Illusions™ is an integrated ceiling system consisting of panels, grid and associated hardware. The ceiling system allows access to the space above at every panel location. Heavy-Duty torsion spring clip assemblies mounted to the panels allow for complete downward access to the plenum without distortion to the panel.

Electrical / Mechanical
Illusions™ accommodate nearly every type of lighting configuration; surface, recessed, or pendant. Perimeter cove details are also available. Consult factory for cad details not shown in details section of this site.

Air distribution is also easily interfaced. Mod-Air™ diffusers are optional accessories which provide excellent air delivery characteristics while neatly blending into the ceiling plane. Integrating linear sources may also be easily accomplished. Consult factory for cad details not shown in details section of this site.

Acoustics
Noise reduction may be achieved by perforating the surface, and adding an absorptive backing. A variety of sound absorbing backing is available, Ceilings Plus can supply absorbing material which can achieve NRC values ranging from .70-.95. Consult factory for more guidance. Perforations
A variety of round, square, rectangular and custom perforation patterns are available to meet the project requirements. See Wood Perforations and Metal Perforations.

Shapes/Sizes
Careful consideration should be made in the selection of larger modules. Our manufacturing processes enable us to create large modular panels. However, larger panels are subject to gravity and could have a certain amount of deflection. Natural and artificial lighting must be a part of the design equation. Severe grazing light will magnify even the slightest deviation. We recommend consultation with one of our experts in this area, at our factory, prior to finalizing modular dimensions.

Light Reflectance
Illusions™ ceiling is available in a high light white reflectance finish. See Metal Finishes. Consult factory for specifics.

Test Reports
Ceilings Plus has developed the Illusions™ ceiling systems to meet ASTM 635, ASTM 636 and typical local building code requirements. Test reports for suspension system and finish performance are available upon request.

Class I Fire Rated
Illusions™ product line, curving metal, wood and luminous ceilings are Class I, 0-25 Flame Spread as tested in accordance with ASTM E84.

Exterior
Illusions™ can be specified for use in exterior soffits. A selection of finishes suitable for this use is available. Factory consultation is available to evaluate specific needs for upward and downward load requirements. System designs are available which have been engineered to meet demands of extreme environmental conditions.
