New England Architectural Sales Representative

Headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, Ceilings Plus is a rapidly growing manufacturer of architectural solutions, an established market leader of specialty ceilings and walls. Our continued growth necessitates the addition of an experienced Sales Representative who has a strong desire to increase market share within the business.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Architectural Sales Representative candidate will be responsible for generating revenues from the Architectural and Interior Designers market, developing new accounts by initiating and nurturing effective relationships with key customers. Use various prospecting methods to identify prospective customers. Assess prospect needs and effectively present appropriate Ceilings Plus service offerings. Develop and present proposals for customized business solutions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Have at least 5 years of business experience employed in the interior/ exterior building products and systems industry selling high value custom solutions.
Have a Bachelors degree in a related field of study (Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, etc. ), or the equivalent training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as liaison to establish long-term relationships with the architectural community, interior designers, general contractors, sub-contractors, acoustic consultants, corporate owners, etc.
Responsible to plan, develop and conduct creative presentations of systems and solutions to achieve architectural specification goals, monitor development approvals, meet contract tenders and to ensure specifications are not changed throughout the process.
Research, evaluate target relevant specification sales and manage construction projects from planning through bidding phases to maximize closing rates.
Develop and implement market strategy to integrate and present products as value added solutions that address Building Performance, and LEED and Sustainability Initiatives.
Communicate with Sales Management team across all Ceilings Plus business units to ensure demand fulfillment through entire construction project cycle.
